Darwin understands that it is no longer Politically Correct to use the term retard, but feels that the term is sometimes justified when used to point out how inappropriate use of equipment (i.e. trying for a wheelie on a snow machine in the grass, no less) very often results in crushed genomes leading to retardation of the retard after the fact.  Very scientific.

From the DailyMail, “Get ready for the chill! Forecasters predict temperatures could fall 35 degrees BELOW average as a polar plunge sweeps across the country”.

People across the country and digging into their closets for gloves and scarves ahead of the arrival of the first polar plunge of the season this week.

In what is being described as the coldest arctic blast since last winter, cities as far apart as Seattle and Chicago are expecting to cop a snow-coating in the coming days.

An almost amusing sight at Fidel Castro’s funeral procession: the car carrying his remains reportedly broke down and had to be pushed by soldiers.
