Over the last two years, his administration has continued to face fierce pushback from Republicans – and at times, Democrats – over his immigration policies.

The Hill reports, “San Diego TV station: CNN declined our ‘local view’ because of reports on wall effectiveness.”

A San Diego television station on Thursday said that CNN had asked for a “local view” and then “declined to hear from us” after past reports from the station showed that a border wall was effective.

A CNN spokesperson pushed back on KUSI’s claim on Friday, calling it a “non story” since the network ultimately didn’t book any reporters from stations in the San Diego area.

If it’s a “non-story” CNN, why are you still spending 50/24/7 (50 minutes and hour, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week)?  Maybe you misspoke.  Perhaps you meant “non-dissent” from the Party Doctrine, rather than non-story?

Wat???  Nancy’s latest suggestion personifies the effects of Trump Derangement Syndrome – dementia mixed with desperation.

“Well, I’m not the wall’s biggest advocate in Congress, but I do know that representatives in the House and Senators in that body from the border wall areas have some serious objection to a wall because they know how detrimental it can be to the community trade, to all of the other aspects of a border.” But again, lets sit down and talk things through and see what makes sense. Not some commitment to a promise that we’re going to build a wall and Mexico is going to pay for it. That’s never going to happen. Let’s talk about where a more serious structure might be necessary, where fencing will do, or mowing the grass so people can’t be smuggled through the grass, that’s something, levies, technology, personnel.”
