Daily Darwin – Tornado Mowing Man

Darwin states that this pair of genomes is destined for the record book of ‘genomenus hugeness’.

In honor of this Daily Darwin Recipient, Darwin, his ownself, has launched a new category of craziness, the “What?  Me Worry?  Survival Award”.

From the Times Colonist, “Man who mowed lawn with tornado behind him says he ‘was keeping an eye on it’“.

Cecilia Wessels snapped the picture of her husband, Theunis, on Friday evening as the twister passed near their home in Three Hills. She said cutting the grass was on her husband’s to-do list, and as he started the task, she went for a nap.

Wessels said she was woken by her nine-year-old daughter who was upset that there was something like a tornado in the sky, but her father wouldn’t come inside. Theunis Wessels said the tornado was actually much further away than it appears in the photo, and that it was moving away from them.

There have been no reports of injuries from the tornado, although some other photos show downed trees and a barn with its roof ripped off.

Natural selection deems that some individuals serve as a warning to others. Who are we to disagree? The next generation, ever and anon, is descended from the survivors

“This piece of shit is not just an embarrassment to America and a stain on the presidency,” Aslan tweeted in response. “He’s an embarrassment to humankind.”

AGW – Springtime In Russia

So Trump is pulling out of the Paris (AGW-Climate Change-Global Warming (AKA: Weather) Climate Agreement? I can’t wait for the Liberals of whatever persuasion and the Democrats to blame Vladimir Putin for Trump’s decision to withdraw. Do you think this Russkie Spring weather might be a motivating factor for Vlad “The Influencer” to get a little ‘warming’ going on?

Na Na Hey Hey – Goodbye AGW Climate Change Treaty

From AP, “Official says Trump expected to pull US from Paris deal“.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is expected to pull the United States from a landmark global climate agreement (**AGW-Climate Change-Global Warming (AKA: Weather**), a White House official said Wednesday, though there could be “caveats in the language” announcing a withdrawal, leaving open the possibility that his decision isn’t final.

Exiting the deal would be certain to anger allies that spent years negotiating the accord to reduce carbon emissions.

Pope ‘AGW-Climate Change-Global Warming (AKA: Weather)’ Gives Trump a Letter

From the Independent, “The Pope gave Donald Trump a 192-page letter he wrote on climate change“.

Donald Trump was given a gift during his meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican: a papal letter detailing why the world should fight against climate change.

Pope Francis issued the encyclical in 2015, just months before nearly 200 countries signed the historic Paris Agreement on climate change.

The agreement is considered a large part of President Obama’s legacy, particularly his work on environmental issues like establishing a protected national park in Hawaii and passing legislation on clean energy.

The “Donald” said thanks.
