Stupid is as stupid does….
Starry, Starry Night
Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)
Don McLean
Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer’s day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land
Now I understand what you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
How you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they’ll listen now
Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in Vincent’s eyes of china blue
Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist’s loving hand
Now I understand what you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they’ll listen now
For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do
But I could have told you, Vincent
This world was never meant
For one as beautiful as you
Starry, starry night
Portraits hung in empty halls
Frameless heads on nameless walls
With eyes that watch the world and can’t forget
Like the strangers that you’ve met
The ragged men in ragged clothes
A silver thorn, a bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow
Now I think I know what you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they’re not listening still
Perhaps they never will

Google After “Don’t Be Evil”
If you are a conservative wondering what happened to your web traffic and search engine ranking, this probably doesn’t come as a surprise. From ZDNet, “Google erases ‘Don’t be evil’ from code of conduct after 18 years“.
As spotted by Gizmodo, the phrase was dropped from the preface of Google’s code of conduct in late April or early May.
Until then, ‘Don’t be evil’ were the first words of the opening and closing sentences of Google’s code of conduct and have been part of it since 2000.
“The Google Code of Conduct is one of the ways we put ‘Don’t be evil’ into practice. It’s built around the recognition that everything we do in connection with our work at Google will be, and should be, measured against the highest possible standards of ethical business conduct.”
Poof! Google disappeared the concept of not being evil. Now they just have “[a high bar] for practical as well as aspirational reasons.” I’m not so sure that is very reassuring.
McCain: Grudge to Grave – Sarah Palin Uninvited From Funeral
Breitbart reports that Nasty John ‘Effing McCain appears to be taking a grudge to his grave, “Sarah Palin, Loyal Running Mate, Excluded from John McCain’s Funeral.” Jeez, John. I really just wanted to let you go in peace and not remind myself how I wasted my vote on your pathetic Presidential Election failure of which the only bright spot was choosing Sarah Palin for your VP candidate. But no… You had to be a shit about ‘dis-inviting’ Ms. Palin and notable others, so John, you are officially dead to me.
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)’s running mate in the 2008 presidential election, has been excluded from his funeral.
Breitbart News has independently confirmed an earlier report in People magazine, which reported that Palin was not sent an invitation, and was told through intermediaries to stay away from the ceremony.

Barack Obama – Election Monkey
Breitbart reports, “Barack Obama in 2008: Both Parties ‘Have Monkeyed Around With Elections’“.
Barack Obama warned supporters that politicians had “monkeyed around” with elections, during a campaign speech at Kent State University in New Philadelphia, Ohio, on September 3, 2008.
Then-Senator Obama (D-IL) said: “I come from Chicago. It’s not as if it’s just Republicans who have monkeyed around with elections in the past. Sometimes Democrats have, too. You know, whenever people are in power, they have this tendency to try to tilt things in their direction.”
But, of course, if a Republican like Ron DeSantis uses the colloquial expression….
So Barack Obama saying, "It’s not as if it’s just Republicans who have monkeyed around with elections in the past. Sometimes Democrats have, too" would be a racist 'dog whistle' too? Shall we hoist him on a petard right next to DeSantis? Crickets on that one, I suspect.

CNN’s Jim Acosta Questioned About FakeNews Bernstein/Sciutto Cohen Report

CNN’s Sr. White House Correspondent, Jim Acosta, had no comment today when asked about Breitbart’s lead story, “Another Very Fake News Scandal Engulfs CNN with Fake Michael Cohen Russia Story“.
Another very fake news scandal has engulfed CNN as the network’s credibility crisis reaches another fever pitch just over a year after three senior network staffers were forced to resign in disgrace over a similar scandal.
This time, though, famed Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein is at the center of the scandal, and the network for now is dug in despite deep criticism from across the political and ideological spectrum as far-ranging as Breitbart News and Daily Caller among others on one side, and the Associated Press, Washington Post, BuzzFeed, and more on the other.
