McCain: Grudge to Grave – Sarah Palin Uninvited From Funeral

Breitbart reports that Nasty John ‘Effing McCain appears to be taking a grudge to his grave, “Sarah Palin, Loyal Running Mate, Excluded from John McCain’s Funeral.”  Jeez, John.  I really just wanted to let you go in peace and not remind myself how I wasted my vote on your pathetic Presidential Election failure of which the only bright spot was choosing Sarah Palin for your VP candidate.  But no…  You had to be a shit about ‘dis-inviting’ Ms. Palin and notable others, so John, you are officially dead to me.

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)’s running mate in the 2008 presidential election, has been excluded from his funeral.

Breitbart News has independently confirmed an earlier report in People magazine, which reported that Palin was not sent an invitation, and was told through intermediaries to stay away from the ceremony.

Steven Tyler – You’re Dead To Me

Usually when a rock star passes, I’ll memorialize the event with an edition of the “Keith Richards, RIP Update“, but for Steven Tyler, since he still actually lives, he’ll miss out on the Keith Richards update.  Steven’s problem is that he’s being a bitch about Donald Trump playing his music at events.  So being a little passive-aggressive myself, if I can’t listen to Aerosmith at Trump events, I just won’t listen to any Aerosmith.  From Breitbart, “Steven Tyler Sends Trump Cease and Desist Letter Barring Aerosmith Songs at Rallies“.

Rock icon and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler does not want to be associated with President Donald Trump. To that end, he has sent a cease-and-desist letter through his lawyer, Dina LaPolt.

Yesterday, Trump played Aerosmith hit “Livin’ on the Edge” at a West Virginia rally. Today, Tyler responded.

In the letter from Tyler’s attorney, he claims that the use of his music “gives the false impression that Tyler is endorsing Trump’s presidency.”

Keith Richards RIP Update – “I Won’t Back Down” Edition

Keith still lives, but Tom Petty, unfortunately, does not.  Tom made his ‘Guitar Gently Weep‘ while every ‘American Girl’s‘ knees got a little wobbly. He vowed he ‘Won’t Back Down‘ until he got his ‘Last Dance With Mary Jane‘.  He did and it was his last.  I wish you ‘Hadn’t Done Me Like That‘ so soon, Tom.

Here’s your Keith Richards RIP Update for August 2017:  He still lives, but Glen Campbell, unfortunately, does not.  Glen wore his ‘Lineman’s‘ jacket (the one studded with ‘Rhinestones‘) for years while working his way to ‘Phoenix‘.
