Breitbart–Chicago is suffering from an infestation of creepy crawlies, the Orkin pest control company revealed Monday.
In a press release, the company said it is the city’s fourth year in a row to be named number one on its Top 50 Bed Bug Cities List:
Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia hold onto the top three spots, ranking first, second and third, respectively for cities with most bed bugs. Greensboro, N.C. saw the largest jump this year, moving up twenty-fife spots into the Top Twenty, with Milwaukee (#25) moving up the list by fifteen and Tampa (#31) moving up by ten.
The bed bug cities list is based on treatment data from the metro areas where Orkin performed the most bed bug treatments from Dec. 1, 2022 – Nov. 30, 2023. The ranking includes both residential and commercial treatments.
The most dangerous neighborhood in Chicago is Washington Park. This area of Chicago suffers from an extremely high violent crime rate, which is 701% higher than the national average. Washington Park has a population of 12,707 and an overall crime rate that is 297% higher than the national average. In addition, violent crimes like murder, robbery, and assault are extremely high, making Washington Park the most dangerous part of Chicago.

Breitbart–Twenty-one people were shot, one of them fatally, Friday into Sunday morning across (New) Mayor Brandon Johnson’s (D) Chicago.
ABC 7 reported the violence began Friday just after 6:20 p.m., when a 33-year-old man was shot who was standing “in the 100-block of West 105th Street.”
He was hospitalized in good condition.
The violence continued all day Saturday and into Sunday morning, which is when a 30-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were driving together “in the 2200-block of West Walnut Street” and both were shot.
Given a few more years, Mayor Lightfoot and her Democratic minions, will once again live up to Chicago’s nom de plume, “The Slaughter House of the World” — only now it’s not just pigs…

DISRN–The city of Chicago notched a grim milestone last weekend, as 18 people were murdered on Sunday, May 31 alone, marking the deadliest day in the city since at least 1961.

The University of Chicago Crime Lab’s numbers do not go back further than 1961, so it’s impossible to say how long it’s been — if ever — since so many people were murdered in the city one 24-hour stretch.
