Keith muses fondly about how he and Peter, Jack and Dennis used to “do acid” at the St. Louis Cemetary in New Orleans. Far out, Man…  Breitbart reports, “Easy Rider’ star Peter Fonda dead at 79.”

Peter Fonda, the star of the classic 1969 road movie “Easy Rider,” died Friday aged 79 from respiratory failure due to lung cancer, his publicist said.

Fonda passed away peacefully at his home in Los Angeles surrounded by family, a statement said.

From CNN, “Mick Jagger doing well after heart valve replacement”.

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is recovering after a heart valve replacement procedure.

“Mick Jagger has successfully undergone treatment. He is doing very well and is expected to make a full recovery,” a representative for Jagger said in a statement to CNN.

A source close to the band told CNN earlier this week that Jagger was being treated to replace a valve in his heart, but a representative for the singer declined to elaborate.

Sadly it’s time for another Keith Richards RIP Update. Keith’s still here but there’ll be no more ‘monkee-ing’ around for Peter Tork.  ‘I’m a Believer‘ that he’s taken his ‘Last Train to Clarkesville‘.  It will be ‘Pleasant Valley Sundays‘ from now on for Peter Tork. RIP.
