Democrats 2020 – “We Don’t Need No Stinking Walls…”

Coronavirus Is 2020 Democrats’ New Case Against Trump

What an extraordinary lack of self awareness they have, proving that Democrats should never, ever again be given control of Government.

BuzzFeed News – Michael Bloomberg is airing an ad titled “Pandemic” across TV nationwide. Elizabeth Warren put out an early plan for preventing the spread of infectious diseases. Amy Klobuchar has talked about containing the virus as a way of transcending partisan politics. And Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, and Tom Steyer are all talking about the virus as they campaign ahead of the South Carolina primary on Friday and in 16 Super Tuesday contests next week.

The common factor: Each candidate has turned the outbreak into a new, potent critique of Trump, hitching their individual campaign messaging to a story that has otherwise begun to pull Americans’ attention away from the presidential election.

Never Let A Good Crisis Go To Waste

Joe Biden says, “Corona Virus will be Number Two on my ticket.” The other candidates say they will support a “Draft Corona Virus for Veep” at the Convention. Nancy Pelosi says, “Wait a minute, Corona Virus is already running in 200 House races,” Not to be outdone, Chuck Schumer noted that he had already promised Corona Virus that if they can beat Trump and take back the Senate, “CV” could be majority leader.

FoxNews – Sen. Bernie Sanders, the frontrunner for the Democrats’ presidential nomination, doubled down on his support for some of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro’s policies, saying in an interview that aired Sunday, “it’s unfair to simply say everything is bad.”

Speaking to CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” Sanders, a self-proclaimed democratic socialist, pointed to social welfare programs introduced under Castro’s regime that he described as redeeming, despite the communist dictator’s often repressive human-rights violations against Cubans.
